Forum seems to be really loading the pages slowly today.

Anybody else notice this, or am I just sitting too close to the dry erase marker dust?

For the price of a cheap pair of headers, you could have roadrunner or dsl for a year!

So I'm not doing 13's at the track... I can read 5 posts in a minute! Laughing

My DSL is pretty fast, I don't know how it compairs to road runner, but I can easily open mulitple pages without it affecting the performance.....unless I am using this forum, or the national GP forum Question But all my other forums run just fine! PLUS my DSL costs ALOT less than Road runner!!!

When you reply its even worse.
Sometimes I open each topic in a new window, go have a snack , and then go look at the pages.

There is this one site I go to that shows you how fast the page loaded at teh bottom.
Its a PHB style forum. It usually takes like .4 seconds.

Yeah most of the other forums I visit are fast...not all of them super fast, but I can click on a thread and be veiwing/reading the whole thing, could prolly post multiple times in the time it takes me just to open the main page on this forum.

Sadly enough Friday and Monday morning I decided to look at the forum before I left for work...since I was up early and had some extra time. I tried opening at 6:43am and when i finshed gettting dressed, brushed my teeth it was time to leave for work at 7:05 and the main page still had not loaded after 3 attempts! Rolling Eyes

That's wierd. It's always very slow in the morning BUT i never have a page time out. I wonder why. I mean heck, i check the thing at 5 am and, while very slow, it always works......just makes me late for work Confused
