just wonder if it was possible to add a feature that would hide the top menu bar...like maybe ad a minimize tool to it..so that it goes up and just shows the black tabs...im running on a 800 X600 view cause i got a small 15" monitor..and i get no room to view posts..

jsut a thought, might be good for those who like to view as much of the posts as possible..i know on my screen that bar takes up 1/3 of the screen..and when yer workin with a 15" monitor, it sucks... Embarassed

Right click on any of the links at the bottom of the page and open in new window. Voila. No more flash thingy.

it marks posts as read if you keep using that window.

I click on 'View posts since last visit' and then open each thread in a new window. This removes the banner in the new window and all posts are marked as read. Seems to be the fastest way to read posts too...

I can easily add something like that if you really want it. Just for the record, the top flash navigation banner is 143 pixels high.... which is 9 pixels LESS than the old site navigation header.

So, the header got smaller fellas. You'll get used to it.
