I'm open to suggestions.

Whether the webmaster chooses, or the mods choose, or if there is a vote each month from nominations in a particular folder, all seem like reasonable options.

Brian offers this:

-Have an album where people can upload only one picture (preferably of their car).
-Voting is open for three weeks of a month.
-At the start of the fourth week, the voting reduced to the top three cars.
-After three more days, the voting is closed, and the winning image gets prepped for the site (if needed).
[maybe skip the all->top3->winner and just do all->winner?]
-At the beginning of the next month, the winner is moved to a Previous-Cars-of-the-Month album (and stamped with the month it won), and posted to the main page.
-Voting resumes for the next month.
-The same car cannot win more than once within a six month period.
-Only registered people can vote.
-People can vote once per week?

why doesnt everyone just submit 1 picture, and it gets put into a database, then at the end of each month, larmo pics the next car to be put up. sorta like what pfyc does, they have tons of pics and u get put in line and when your turns up, they post your ride. so kinda like a 1st come 1st serve type deal.

for example, say 4 people infront of me submit, then i do those 4 would go the next 4 months and then on the 5th my car would be it. understand? Embarassed

I don't like that because that would mean at some point I'd probably have to look at a Regal, or worse, Hahn's car for a whole month. Shocked Laughing Wink

<cough cough>

HA HA HA HA

(I think I just wet myself)

Yeah, I don't like the "everybody gets a chance" method.

I do have to admit, when my car is clean (once a year, whether or not it needs it) it does look good.

Let's make a new Photo Album..... call it UNYCGP Grand Prix of the Month Archive. I will begin to post each month's GP of the month in there and stamp the images with their month. Good idea, Brian.

Ok, how we choose.... how about we just make it easy and I will choose each month. Maybe we make a new folder and call it something like Grand Prix of the Month nominations??

Talk to me....

I've got a better idea.... how about each of you start posting your very best shots of your GP's in your own personal galleries. Start using them... and when it comes time for the GP of the month I will porous those galleries to find what I think is the GP of the Month.

So start postin...
