Guys,
With the good weather this week, we should do lunch some place in the Rochester area Thursday or Friday.
Post with suggestions as to what day and where. Places that come to mind are Tulleys, Zeb's, Apple Bee's, Bill Grays, Fridays, Buffalo Wings (sorry Larry) and the big easy, The Dino.

Sounds like a good idea!
I should be able to do either day.
I take it Larry doesn't like Wild Wings? I have to admit, the number of times I've had to walk out of there after a long wait is a turn off. The only time I think I've eaten there was with Tommy and a friend of his (the episode that lead to ordering 300 wings at MacGregors).
If you guys haven't tried it yet, Pannera Bread Company, on Hylan Drive north of Weggies but in the same plaza south of Jefferson, is a neat sandwhich and soup type place.
If you want to go a bit further west, there is a coffee shop in Chili (easy access off 490) that does great sandwhiches and soup (though I haven't tried the soup yet) and has great coffee and other drinks.
I should also mention that I've heard of a newer BBQ place over in the culver/atlantic neighborhood. Different type of BBQ than Dino, so you can't compare the two. I've been wanting to find an excuse to try that place as well. |

Autumn,
I would like to donate to the care package thing, so I vote to do our mid winter GPC lunch this Friday so you can join in on the fun. Plus I have never met you so that would be something to look forward to for me.
So those in favor of doing this Friday noon let it be known. And guys, with Autumn Marie joining us I think we should leave Hooters of the list of resturants to choose from!

It's amazing no one has suggested getting a plate yet. I won't either. Something on Friday would work for me. _________________ 2018 Acadia

Autumn,
Thank you for OK'ing Hooters, but it wasn't really your feelings we are worried about. It would be the poor waitresses working there. You would come in with what, 6-10 great looking guys and we are all paying attention to you. Yup, these poor girls are wearing next to nothing with the "mother of all push up bras" on, bringing us cold beer and hot food, and we have eyes only for you! Oh sure they can deal with the fact your attractive, smart and have a great personalty, but not with the fact you like cars and can work on them too. Thats too much competion, we must be sensetive and think of them. Besides, the food isn't all that good and cost alot, but the beer is nice. |
