scotty mac and i were talkin, what do u guys think about having the Intense mod day in April so everyone can get ready for IDD?? Unfort. they dont give us a 20% discount but they do give us free shipping to 1 address.

Or would u prefer to have the PFYC one is april and the Intense 1 in May?

opinions, comments?

Do we even have the PFYC sponsorship this year?

From what I read on here, they still owe some stuff to folks from last year.

Some would be a heavy understatemnt considering NOTHING was recieved this year! IIRC we didn't recieve any bracket racing money, or any of the prizes handed out during club meets...or the bracket racing winners prizes, or the end of the year gift certificate for the member of the year(used to be 60%).
OH not to mention the mechanics gloves we never recieved!

I told you - Dundee ate the gloves. Preston just doesn't want to admit it.

So, who is following up with PFYC to see where the stuff is?

A PFYC-sponsored one would do me more good than an Intense one...although I'm not sure how much modding I'll be doing just yet anyways (as in, I still need to do my taxes).

edit
-----
Though now that I read the posts that snuck in while I wrote that, maybe neither sponsorship would do me any good. Shocked

like i said, its just a thought, i know a few people on here plan on going to IDD so i figured it might work out well for them considering what scott said and we have no idea what pfyc is gonna do this year.

im game for whatever, theres things at both place i want so its a win win!

An april mod day would also let some of us get ready for the Turbo GN vs. UNYCGP showdown at NYIRP. I think 4/24?

scott said to give him a 2 week notice for when we place our order so he can make sure everything is all set and he has the right # of t-shirts and sizes...

i can have everything shipped to me and i can bring it up, or if u feel safter, shipped to Mac's house and he can bring them up. or Scott P. cause he has the SUV..

I'm on it as it is my responsibility This was mostly me, not PFYC at fault. I just haven't followed up as I should have. I've sent an email this morning and am working on getting everything that is owed to us. I'll probably need to get help from you kind folks on what is owed.

I'll go over the sponsorship details and see what I can find. 2005 will be handeled differently. With the poor turnout for bracket events in 2004, I almost hate to ask for sponsorship.

PFYC is by far the most contribuing spocner to the club. I feel intense giving free shipping on one order going to the same place as hardle meaning jack shit. No way is that a spconership is any way shape or forum, and should affect PFYC at all. I'm all in for having 2 differnt mod days, but I don't want to see this small intense one affecting the PFYC one, thats all.

Like scott said (about PFYC)
"I'll go over the sponsorship details and see what I can find. 2005 will be handeled differently. With the poor turnout for bracket events in 2004, I almost hate to ask for sponsorship."

This saddens me. I know this is just a future idea, having a sencod mod day. I know someone can't make memebrs go to club meets. But I if you abuse saving a few bucks on these "mod day" it's gona bit us all in the ass, But PFYC did sponcer the braket raing serise, Put up money for a hoilday dinner, give away gift cards to be raffled off. Thers alot more behind the PYFC deal then just the mod day. But don't burn both your bridges. or somthing like that. ?

Maybe we need to see what the origianl dela was with use a PFYC. I'm thinking some didn't/don;t know what it intieraly was. I was a great plan, and it's slowing getting craped on.

i hope no 1 thinks im trying to get rid or degrade the pfyc sponsorship. i just happened to be on 3800 tech and saw a post about the intense sponsorship for some grand am club. i just happened to post asking if they had one for club gp chapters. just figureing it might give us something new, i wasnt trying to replace the Pfyc one.

i just dont want anyone getting the wrong idea about the intense mod day Embarassed

The would've supplied $100 towards the bill. I forgot about that portion of the sponsorship.

Did they? I don't recall the subject coming up in all the discussions of the event.
