I did not hear back from TransExchange. I am still getting a transgo kit but maybe a different vendor.

Lets do this tranny mod day! Order up gentlemen.
The garage is waiting.

How about picking from these dates
Friday's
3/11, 3/25

Saturdays
3/12, 3/26

Sundays
3/13, 3/27

Lets agree on one of those days and that should be more than enough time to get kits ordered.

I will open the doors at 08:00am until we finish them all. This is a plastic molding factory. So that means bring some hand tools, and don't forget to bring your tranny fluid. We will have a place to dispose of the old.

thanks Johnny for that info! Wow, a $5 shift kit, interesting. Good pics on that link on how to do it also, cool.

OK, as I have asked before though, is it really worth doing the springs/spacers if you have a DHP pcm? and secondly, how much wear will this put on the components ? I'm still debating doing this. I don't drive aggressively normally, so I think it's not a bad idea? but, how much improvement will I really see? not much I think?

Larry/Doug/Johnny - can you weigh in again on this? thanks

Cary - If you're not sure, maybe you should wait until after you drive someone else's car with the shift kit. If we do the mini mod day, I bet you can drive someone's car before/after the install and then decide. I don't think you are taking a huge risk with a shift kit though.
