I guess the suggestion was Auto tap/or another scan tool and an afc.
I might need new plugs and would like to find a good set and gap size.

104's are to cold for a GT....but 605's should work nicely.

Have you changed your plugs and wires since you have owned the car? Also what are the symptoms that make you think you need a tune?

You know when you get a new car and it feels nice and smooth. Well I have a ton of HP and torque steer is almost too much. But it just doesn't feel right. Sometimes the power is intense sometimes it's not enough. I don't know if you understand.

My car only has 46,000 miles on it. I have changed the plugs once since I owned it.

Well...Plugs are a must when modding should be #1 on the list. So I suggest changing plugs to something like Autolite 605's they are 1* colder than stock which will help eliminate Knock retard. I will also agree that A-tap would be a good idea just to see how the car is running, for the most part GTs don't suffer KR as badly(or at all...such as was the case with my car) but when they do they make our cars feel ultra slow!

And I understand what you are saying, I got that feeling alot in my car, but it's usually just in your head...I know there was times I thought my car felt fast as hell, and other days t felt so slow....but a trip to the track proved that both days car ran the same.

I just ordered the plugs so I will do that next weekend. Is there anyone local with a Autotap that you know of. I would love to finally run my car this year. Any track dates?

We are at the track in geneseo every friday night sometimes Saturdays and Sundays. And we can run a Wednesday progrma just for fun since we don't have a sponsor.

Also I have the cub laptop, but without a battery you need a power invertor to make it work properly....Thanks MATT!!!!!! Rolling Eyes

I can come up with a power inverter. As soon as I can get my plugs and my crossoverpipe wraped. I'll head out to the track. I'm a track virgin.

How would you like to meet up to run some scans?
