Is there a way for some code to be written that supercedes IE's decision to turn 1/4 mile times into a mailto: reference?

For example, 13.1 at 104 become an email link for 13.1@104

Just curious.

edit: I guess this only happens in signatures, because it didn't happen here.

This leads me to believe that it is possible to change the coding.
