I'm like 99% sure I can be there, with any luck I'll have my exhaust done by then. I'd love to join in on the fun, but we'll see...either way I'm pretty sure I'll be there for support. Laughing

Well, I didn't get my exhaust done, so I stole Jenn's GTP and her 5 yr old son Ayden for "boy's night out" Very Happy This was Ayden's 1st time @ a track, so he wasn't too keen on the louder cars, but he DID have fun once he got used to all the different sounds. Looked for ya Johnny, and didn't see any signs of a VW there either, but a good time was had. NonetheLess. Saw an 05' Mustang GT bone stock put down a low 9.30's pass. ( Honestly didn't think they would run that slow...less than impressive. That black, blown covertible from PJ's was there, but this was the 1st time he wasn't the top ponycar in attendance. There was a guy in his 40s running a 95 GT that was blown, hitting low 8.20's with a little wheelspin. ( granted, that only equates to roughly a 12.70s 1/4 timeslip, but still damn impressive in comparison to the rest of the cars that showed. Keep in mind, it was fookin HOT today. Crying or Very sad Got a couple pics and some CRAPPY vids to share....

Rice-a-Roni.....the pic doesn't show it too good, but the tips on the MR2 were HUGE. Shocked

edit The exhaust looked expensive, and maybe the car's pretty quick, but those fartcans looked like a couple of stainless tits getting a mammogram under there. Just plain tacky. Can't they make power AND look good? Rolling Eyes The rest of the car was beautiful, then there's the exhaust. Crying or Very sad

straight pipe on those little Jr Dragsters....kinda loud for a 5yr old 1st timer.

The vids:

that 95 GT, then a decent looking mid/late 90's Z28:

Never knew Lightnings were so damn slow?

The black PJ's convertible, then a brand new Legacy GT Turbo...nice lookin car, but NOT worth the money imho.

I agree, even if I had my exhaust buttoned up in time, I wouldn't have run either. Maybe next time. Smile

Before seeing the second pic, I thought the MR2's bumper was falling off!

I have never run on that track, might try it some time. How are the pits, paved orgravel? My best 1/8 mile time in my 01 GTP was 7.689@89.94, so it might be fun over there playing with the Stangs
