yea when i owned my 2000 i didnt like the 04's when they first came out. kinda thought they looked like a turtle on wheels. Then i slowly to start to like them. and by the time my car was on the way out, i couldnt resist picking one up. big upgrade going from the 3.1 to the 3.8. not supercharged, but a much stronger feeling engine.
and to BigEd88:
I dont know who did the pontiac lettering on the side, or the pinstripe. it was there when i got it. I have only seen a few others in the area driving around with them. might have been a dealer option or something.
yea im in the market for just about any good looking dual outlet tips. spo's are just the one that are easy to describe since just about everyone know what they look like.
I have seen some of those new bumpers, but i dont feel like going that route with the car.
If i didnt have a n/a motor, i would have done more to the exhaust, im not doing anything to the motor, not really all about going fast. if i did anything to the motor, it would just be a intake. just went for a quick, relative cheap way to get some more sound out of her, since she was the base model, she only came with the single and was wayyyy to quiet for my taste. so swapped out the lower fascia piece and put on the duals.
looks like you guys have alot of action in here. im gonna have to start moving around this forum a little more. |

Ah I get it. Going dual was the best thing you could do, I wondered why they didn't just give the SPO's standard on the Supercharged and keep the aluminin tips for the base model, the GXP has differant tips and exhaust all together, guess to seperate the classes a bit more and not give them zillion rentals to much sport
In any event looks good and I'm sure it sounds pretty good...for the most part, the exhaust of our cars has kinda grown on me, but I still have my head turned by the V8's.
Good luck! _________________ Best Formula N-A 12.1 @ 110 (pre-engine swap) |
