Ive seen a lot of cars that snap the top nibble off. Most re glue it on, and its very brile to break agian. And looks like shit with a gob of clear/yellow shit all over the BBV.

I was working on a car with a glued on one. And broke it off agian[:@]. This fix kicks ass. Looks alot better and just as strong and the plastic nipple.

parts needed

Some glue/sealer. I used 7min 2 part plstic epoxy I use all the time.

you can also use RTV, or just silocone, or a glue. if its all you have.

brass coupling multi barb fitting. Lowesm like $1.50 I htink it was 1/8 or 7/64? whatsever the stock was.

its to long, it will stick insie to far and hit the pluger, So cut it down to 2 bardbs on both ends and de burr it nice. This is good becuse with 2 barbes, you have a good OD for the fitt to be press. And the space in the middle the expoy will bond, and lock it in. I step drilled out the broken hole in the BBV so it was like a .005 press fit.
Mix up some glue, and tap it in. Let dry if you have time, I sharpied the little bit of brass you'd see. :snky:

Shit is better then the stock fitting.

you ever notice that 97 L67's only had the nipple on the BBV pointing outwards towards the front off the car? while every other year had it pointing towards the rear. Guess the first year is a bastard year Laughing

nice fix
