Hi Guys,
Anyone have an o2 spoof for sale or even borrow.
I am ordering one, but I need one right away for inspection reasons.
Any help is appreciated.

ZZP.
I am having a "not ready issue" and it is :
Catalyst
Oxy Sensor
Oxy Sensor HEater.

Those three things are completly turned off.
So there fore "not ready".
I figure I can turn them back on and and use a spoof to pass inspection.

They should be 'on', but 'non-reporting'. Fix that, then drive to Henrietta and back to Lima, one way on 390, and you should be all set.

Just passed last week (and the last 3yrs) with it properly done, as he just stated:

I also have this for EGR, EVAP, etc.

If you have a code reader, you can see the "Diagnostic Tests" that their computer reports back, along with DTC's, which you aren't passing 3 due to this issue.

For example, mine is like the one below, and the dots will blink if that test isn't passed yet, then stay solid if passed:

Just an extra way to check before heading back to the inspector, where they may be looking at the same thing before confirming you'll be able to pass. With all that's turned off in my pcm, all the dots still remain on and passed, so you should be able to achieve the same.

Its not a DTC its a "not ready" it does not show up as a trouble code.

Brian,
I thought that is what I did, but since I don't own a tuner and I lost my bin file I can't check.
I am heading out to Gary's to have him turn them on and not report. But if that is not the problem I will need to go the route of a spoof as a work around. I think.

Larry and I bought a MAC Tools ET50. It shows readiness monitors status and a lot more, very easy to use and cost about $70

Carl - If you're desperate, I can take a spoof off one of my cars. Although even with the spoof, I still have to use the tuner to turn off the readiness monitors. So that's probably your best bet. But if you want to try it, let me know.

I am just scratching my head and wondering why most people with out a cat don't have a problem.

Thanks for the offer Larry, let me see what Gary can do tonight.
I mean we should be able to get this straightened out. It is simple, they need to be on but not reporting.
Somehow they are completly off.

I should've separated my description of DTC's and Diagnostic Tests in my 1st response.

The tests, which you're being shown aren't ready, are spawned from not having the DTC's set-up properly.

I posted the black/blue DTC reader because those dots with letters are the actual Diagnostic Tests (ex: O = Oxygen Sensor, OH = Oxygen Heater, C or CC = Cat).

Again, it will just be a matter of having your DTC list matching the one I posted, and the "not ready" condition for those Diagnostic Tests will pass.

Carl like everyone else is saying have the code turned off but still ready. Also certain years can have 1 not ready and others I believe 2 not ready. So technically if the rear 02 is the only one not ready and you have no SES light you should still pass as long as the the other ones are ready.

I made the mistake of leaving my rear 02 turned off and not ready and still passed OBDII test.

I play it safe and set every DTC to 'not reporting' in order to get the readiness monitors to be ready. When it's programmed like this, the requried 'driving cycle' needed to run the readiness monitors is almost instant and I don't need to drive very much if at all.

However, with my black car, I noticed my readiness monitors would not go ready even after flashing the PCM. Part of a full driving cycle is a cold start. The outside air temp has to be close to the engine coolant temp. But I was using the IAT harness for my ZZP timing adjuster! So it was never close to the coolant temp and never did a cold start.

So when I get my black car inspected I need to:
1) Reprogram the PCM so DTCs are 'not reporting'.
2) Cold start with the IAT sensor from a factory f-duct plugged in.
3) Use Jedi mind trick on mechanic so he thinks I have a cat.

Hey Carl,
Did you get this resolved.
I can rig a spoof if you need it.
