Crank position sensor... got this code sat night out driving in the rain along with 0300 misfire, reset it while driving, came right back in a minute or so. car was sputtering some at long stop lights and a little hesitant. reset code when I got home and drove to work today without a problem. do you think water was getting in the connector causing it to read wrong? I think I am going to have my friend at the dealership throw a new sensor in just in case when I drop my car off for him to put my new struts on this week. since he will have that wheel off anyways.

Shouldn't be too much work for him, then. Just have him toss extra di-electric grease in the plug for the new sensor. Hopefully that'll clear up the timing sputter & such, it's just a matter of pulling the belts/crank pulley/plastic shroud/2 front cover bolts/sensor.
