What should a stock '00 GTP idle at? I just got my about 2 months ago and it always seems to idle high (1000-1200 rpms depending on the weather). The last car I owned with a 3800 did not idle that high but it wasnt blown either.

During initial cold starts it'll be that high for 30-60sec until it's warmed up. After that, you should see the needle down in the 650-800 range when you come to a stop and the engine is at normal operation temp.

Nevermind, you said it's stock. I'm not sure, but that doesn't sound too bad, maybe a little high.
