Dave - There's another thread about our Syracuse meet tomorrow (Sat night for dinner). They probably won't get too much closer to you than that. |

yup I saw it...I saw it mentioned on GPONA thats how I found this...
As of right now, I can't make it out, GF wants her time. I'll make it out to one dont worry, I've been known to drive 3-5 hours for meets if there is a large turn out.
I am a big member for the Maxima community and tend to do their meets as well cause I know the VQ engine inside and out. A couple of Bonne and GP guys showed up to the last Maxima meet I organized over here in Mass. |

3.5 out of the 350z, maxima and the sort
I had a VQ30 in my maxima, which is my favorite engine of all time (3800 is a close second).
The 3.5 is good, but not as strong as it predecessor. It also has a tendancy to burn oil...badly |

like the LED reverse lights, they brighter than stock? Always looking to get more light out of those (although Pontiac always had a good reverse light it would seem).
Turn Singles are a nice touch too. _________________ Best Formula N-A 12.1 @ 110 (pre-engine swap) |

Welcome,
I like the wheels. I have the same wheels on mine.
Did you have red calipers on yours?
The close up on your wheel shows all the dirt and brake pad dust.
If you really want to clean them properly, you will need to take them off.
Be gentile, lotsa of soap and water. You may need a good chrome polish.
Then finish off with a couple of coats of Carnuba wax, they will be easier to keep clean.
The wheels will look much better with the chrome shining through the entire wheel.
In case your wondering, mine is still OEM.
CHANGES---OIL...
I have driven 2008 and 2009 Maxima's and my GTP is a better performing car for the money.
The Nissan 370Z's are nice roadsters and perform well, but terrible road noise.
Again, Welcome,
Sal |
