When I sold my Grand Prix, I did the craigslist thing for a couple weeks. After numerous low ball offers and request for payments, I listed on Autotrader for a higher price. It sold within a couple days. I got more than full book value for a nine year old car with 120,000 k miles. Take some good pics of the car and out it on a real auto classifieds site.
