I have a Duralast Gold, going on 8 years? checked out OK a couple months ago. Wonder why the same as a GP won't fit? I have never looked under the hood of an Impala SS _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

Yeah, I don't know.. your terminals are on the side, right?
I do know is that it's a giant pain in the ass to get a battery out of my car.

ok i looked up the dimesions of the optima battery for your car and took the dimensions from them and matched them to a duralast gold battery and the closest one is the 25-dlg but the only difference is the posts wich your car calls for a positive right hand post but this duralast has a left hand post, go to your nearest autozone and have them put that 25-dlg battery in the car and if the terminals reach and nothing looks to be harmful then your golden or even turn the battery 180* and see if that works _________________ 07 Base GP, 180* tstat, open cone, ZZP F&R STb, overkilled pcm, aeroforce gauge |
