redirect? WTF?

I went to the club page at unycgp.com and clicked on the forum link, and rather than coming here ended up at a godaddy page saying this one has been parked.

WTF?

Sorry, our domain name just expired and GoDaddy decided not to tell me. I just paid for the renewal so the DNS should renew within an hour or two hopefully.

Yes, out of my own pocket.

did the domain get renewed, or completely recreated on GoDaddy? I'm guessing that the DNS servers aren't set correctly:

Yes, GoDaddy is having issues that they are working on. They have told me it will be taken care of within 24 hours.

Great...Now in 11 months I wonder if I'm gonna regret having moved two domains to them about a month ago.. Confused

I don't think you should worry. I run my business with them as my primary registrar and this is the first renewal issue I have experienced. The volume I do with them is exorbitant, to the effect that I am a certified reseller. GoDaddy does great service and I'd recommend them to anyone. It's unfortunate that this issue happened for the club but based on my other experience with them I am convinced this is just an isolated incident.
