I never thought I would get that much gain from just the 1.0 PCM from ZZP. I love it so far. So far I only have a 3" DP and Thrasher CAI for mods, I wanna do a little more, but With this computer, Whats the maximum mods I can throw on this thing without killing it.. I'm thinking maybe a 3.4 pulley, ZZP Stage 1 HVTB, some Autolite 605s and a 180 drilled T Stat. and then call it DONE. All Input is welcome.. thanks... _________________

With a 3.4 pulley, you'll want 104's.
Past that...do that list and leave it alone! _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

I don't know if you need the ported TB. You might be fine without it. |

Just did some slight MAF tweaks on Chris's 2003GT (syr) with a ZZP pcm, they left that table stock. Other than that, it seems to be decent, and car runs nice... for an L36.

I'd say stay with the stock TB..the ported ones need to be tuned a tad up top and you will see higher boost #'s from the ported TB since you will be suck more air _________________ 70 Monte Carlo 12.5@109 frame off in progress... |

Yea i meant to say 104s for the plugs, I have just had 605s with my NA project so it just came out... I don't plan on going to far with this, I want the TB because it gave me a BIG gain when I put it on my bronze GT and the stage 1 doesn't need tuning... But My big project will be with my Bronze car. I'm changing it to the L67 and maybe in a year doing a ZZP Turbo kit...
Thanks... |

if you are going to turbo then why bother with L67 swap? the turbo guys are bolting the turbo kit to their L36. _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

That's what I was thinking....the 36's have a slightly higher compression ratio, right? _________________

You can run more boost and make more peak HP with an L67 just because of the boost thing, but with the higher CR of the L36, you'll probably find it to be a peppier, less laggy DD...at the expense of some top end.
Cam the L36 for the turbo and I think you'd have a monster on your hands for fairly cheap....
I should do this to the GTX....
I could do this to the GTX.....hmmmm |
