|
|
OK, this thread is for planning the summer picnic. Let's try to keep it related to attendance and who is bringing whom and what.
Details:
Picnic to be on 7/24/2004 at Letchworth State Park, Geneseo NY.
Letchworth worked out great last year, we had plenty of room to park all the cars together. Here's a map:
Last year we went down into the balloon launch area by the waterfall. There was good parking and a big field for sports etc.
Now we need an attendance list and supplies. I think everyone should bring their own drinks/burgers/dogs/etc and a dish to pass to the group. Also bring your own chairs, bug spray, etc.
Games: Frisbee, bocce, maybe bleach for the burnout contest? And a dB meter for the SPL contest (radio and exhaust)
Supplies needed -- if you're bringing a supply from this list, cut it and paste it next to your name. Or type in what you're bringing
Grill(s)
Charcoal/Lighter fluid
Utensils
Plates/Napkins
Condiments
Frisbees
Bocce
Let's start the attendance list. Copy and add to this list.

We actually set up at the lower falls area, past the Glen Iris Inn. Basiclally, we were at the bottom of the park. I really liked the site and think that would be best this year. |

Penny, Last year we meet at Noon, and that worked out well. So I would guess anytime after noon would be a good idea? |
