She gave me a new son I have to think about the children THE CHILDREN! I sprayed her with the sink sprayer yesterday and I thought she was gonna shank me. After all was said and done I was banned to the garage for an hour WHOA big punishment there I have beer in the fridge.
I'll try and get there pending my work schedule, any place good to grab a bite to eat around there? |

Let's see...
Sept. 12 - Oswego - Race Of Champions All-Star $2,000 to win race
Sept. 13 - Oswego - Race Of Champions 59th Annual Championship 200 laps $10,000 to win
Sept. 19th - Binghamton - ShangriLa2 Speedway final points race $1,000 to win
Sept. 20th - Lancaster - Race Of Champions "U.S. Open" final points race
Oct. 3rd - Binghamton - ShangriLa2 Speedway "Fall Brawl" race $1,000 to win
Sorry, but these 2 are my dates for the next couple weekends:
(drag tracks around the Northeast are open later, and with colder weather)
So Sam, good luck running more 12sec passes in an 11sec-or-better car... since I've seen you at the shop for about 3hrs total since the UNYCGP picnic in June (half of that being to install the Lokar trans dipstick & not yet be able to install a bracket for it). We'll race next week when my GP's got a tranny again, finally, to show I'm not joking.

Oh I know, but I was told they usually have a staging lane dedicated to time trials that they will let run between classes. I'm bone stock so only looking for a few runs anyways. |

Only thing that sucks about the 1st gen GP's is you cant really take the driver side headlights out to get better air flow like you can the 2nd gen GP's/regals....even the 1.5 Gen Monte Carlo's/Lumina's. If you do ever take it......take the spare tire/jack out....clean the car completely out......when you go down the track leave the shifter in "2" the entire time.
The reason why is because the 4T60E's like to shift into 3rd at WOT like 100-150 ft or so b4 the 1/4 line at it's stock computer setting.........wich kills the time........those LQ1 motor's still have alot of room to gain acceleration if you keep it in "2" for that last bit of time at the end. I did that in my 95 Z-34 Monte Carlo w/ the DOHC 3.4L and ran a 15.88 absolutely bone stock...170K miles on the car. |

Sorry, should have mentioned I'll have my new car. '09 G8 GT. Took the GP to the track a long time ago and was running high 15's with 2.4 60's (first day of the year and there was frost the night before). I took the new car to ESTA a few weeks ago, but it's such a waste there on TnT day. 2.3 60's, on top of very muggy and a good 5-10 mph headwind. Best was 14.3 at 99, so I'm sure NYIRP on a cool night is my ticket to 13's. |
