Not trying to mess up a dyno day guys......just trying to offer what I can.
With say 10 people, 5 dyno runners, 5 tuners, you should all be able to do what you want to in the time alloted. _________________ Sgt at Arms - Council of Elders

I'd throw mine up on the dyno for some pulls, numbers don't mean all that much to me but it be neat to see how close (or better) than the advertised numbers I am. Could also be a good baseline because the only thing done to mine is exhaust tips at the moment. Be nice to see in person what gains are gained by the differant setups, give me some ideas.
Weekdays are somewhat out of the question unless after 6/7, especially if in Rochester, be a nice Saturday/Sunday thing I would think Count me in the interested list for sure. _________________ Best Formula N-A 12.1 @ 110 (pre-engine swap) |

So there would be people on hand to do the acual tuning? I know nothing about tuning yet, so if there was this could be a possability for me..all depends on how my funds are looking at the time, I'm on a very tight budget right now. _________________

While Gary's offer is generous (thank you!), I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it.
I would imagine that someone who has never used a tuner before would spend at least half the allotted time learning what the different tables do and how their car reacts to changes (which are hopefully small so nothing blows up).
If people want to take Gary up on the offer to use a canned program applicable to their mods, cool. But I'm skittish of people tuning their own cars without any guidance. I think it would be best if people paid for someone to tune their cars, or they buy/borrow a programmer and learn on their own time.
The place to do this is still an issue. Last I heard, New Era wasn't interested/available.
Didn't some people go to Fountain Motorsports at one point? How was the experience there? Looks like they have a 4wd dyno.... _________________ 2018 Acadia

Why not take up Gary's offer, use at own risk, if you blow up tuff shit. The place Cary went to on MOD day lets you tune on the dyno, spina's I think its called. _________________ '08 TrailBlazer SS Black/Black |

I see what Brian is saying. Gary ~might~ even get accused of it being HIS fault for letting the person tune their own car and fuggin it up. People that have some experience with tuning (JayG., me, ect) could show up to give some pointers. Im not a pro. by any means but I know the basics....PE, AE, tuning the MAF with small changes. ect. |

Exactly, any user that tunes his/her car must know that only he/she is responsible for what happens. If any damage is caused no one else can or will be blamed. |

Good experience, but that was a few years ago. They are heavily into racing their own cars now in Grand Am races. It's probably expensive, but I'll try and find out. |

foutin would be a good dyno, for this.
you guys can just keep the cat litter on the ground, and keep soaking up the oil. And you'd just be shooting rods down on the gorund, there no rollers it can hit. _________________ New Era performance
