Cause the guy running the dyno, has something to do on the original date.... It's only a week later, put in for the change now, gives you 3 weeks? _________________ 2002 WRX Wagon - SOLD!!

IIRC innovative has the Dyna pak setup, which is the packs that hook up to the hub. it's known as a portable dyno. Also, IIRC Dyna-paks tend to read lower than a dynojet or mustang dyno? |

I think they are good for detecting small changes between runs. The best value would be to dyno now and then dyno again at a later date at the same shop. Or to make a small change between runs (pulley swap) at dyno day. |

that picture is not a dynapac dyno.
why does everyone always complain about false dyno readings? if every dyno reads incorrectly, then why even go? just run what ya brung, and see how we all compare.
I'm in support of the "guess your dyno" contest, but king of the hill? Why would i support a contest i'd never win?

I think this dyno is pretty accurate. I went thier back in december and put down 225whp with a 3.4, ported tb, and open cone. _________________ '08 TrailBlazer SS Black/Black |

What about the most hp with the least amount of MODs. Not including NOS. |

Then you get into arguments over which is more or less of a mod.
How about a variant on "guess your hp" to be "guess everyone's hp".
Bring some paper and pens. Write down each owner as the car goes on the dyno. Each owner must fully disclose mods done. Then, everyone writes down a guess. At the end of the day, the person with the lowest net average difference from actual wins.
For example, if I guess over by 10 on 2 and under by 20 on one, it does not average out to zero. I would have been off by an average of 13 and 1/3 (10+10+20=40/3).
Or put all attendee names in a hat and pull out names to for teams of 2 and you both work on one set of results together.
Or, just keep it simple and everyone guess their own.
It could all be fun. |
