by the way, there is absolutely ZERO room for storage in this car. Engine is in the back and the spare is in the front, no room for anything else outside of the cockpit.

Inside, I can store my wallet and a cell phone and a few other very small items in the compartment behind the seats, but that is it. One huge drawback of this car. But then again, 200 HP will propel this car pretty quickly since she weighs half as much as my GTO.

If you really want a convertible GTO, it can be done.

Years ago, when I subscribed to the Robb Report, every so often there were ads for a company in California that would make anything into a convertible.

I'm sure it's not cheap, but wouldn't it be cool to have the only (or one of the only) new GTOs in a convertible?

Sell the GTP and custom convert the GTO Twisted Evil

The MR2 was not meant to be practical, it was meant to be fun.

It's a user defined setting. You don't have to get email notification of PMs. Also, that system is incompatible with some emails, such as RoadRunner. RoadRunner sees them as spam and blocks them at the server level. I haven't received emails from the site for some time now.

Yeah, you could do sky or solstice, but I think a convertible GTO would be cooler!

cut the roof of a gto... thats bright, you will not only ruin the car but the chasis will be about as stiff as a limp noodle.

You can reinforce a chasis, just like is done with most every other convertible.

Nobody is cutting any holes in my GTO. Very Happy

On a lighter note, before I trade in the GTP if anyone wants the Sony xplod MP3/CD headunit, send me a few bucks, plus a few bucks for shipping, and their stock headunit and its yours.

Same goes for the Upstate Performance CAI.

Can we rape this car anymore before it goes to wholesale?

This is what I'm saying... someone send me a few bucks and your stock items and these are yours. I'm cutting my losses. I paid almost $500 for the headunit and $150 for the CAI, right Johnny?

This has to happen like NOW though.. trading in the car this week.

You should have seen what was done to Christine when Rick traded it in. I swapped wiper arms and took all the extra fuses out of the fuse box. People swapped batteries, fog light housings, spare tire, etc. The car had an airbox, but it wasn't attached and there wasn't a filter in it. We even joked that he needed to drive slowly to the dealership because there were only 3 lugs on each tire.

Then we got a pic of Rick standing on the roof with a hammer.
