Hmmm...I WAS going to bring the Grand Prix, but maybe I should bring the GTO so we can run 'em Jay! Should be close...

I edited my original post, but I don't think anyone notticed

I would love to make it, but unfortuneately I can't

Yesterday I was hanging out with my brother when I got a wretched feeling that i should start heading home, so i did. I was about 20 minutes away going down a wet road and i heard a loud pop from my right rear, lost control spun into a ditch tore up my car, etc. etc. they're saying it's about $5k in damages.

My initial thought was that my tire blew out because i did have 2 bad tires which when i headed home i made the call to have them replaced today, but upon evaluation my rim was bent and it leaked air, but was probably holding 20psi once it stopped hissing, my bumper was torn off headlight dangling, driver side fender was bent nobody can believe that my airbags didn't go off.

I got a phone call today saying the exhaust is bent, something about a sway bar or torsion bar, something of the sort, my plan of action is to just fix it up a bit, and down the road replace parts little by little, i already planned on putting a dual exhaust on it, and an appearance package. They said about $700 to touch it up: new tires, 1 wheel, new bumper + paint, whatever bar it was, they're goign to bend the fender out, and touch up the exhaust. They're cutting me a huge deal, $175 for a bumper.

I just want my car back

I'm trying to figure out what the pop was, because it wasn't my tire

I'm also glad i was close to home and not on a highway

I am fine by the way, i would have put pictures from the track up, but my camera is in my car... Hopefully I'll see some of you at the track in September
