We can meet in the lot, until there's more than 4-5 guys arrived. Then we'll make our way in & give the staff a rough guess for a table size, and chill at the bar or entrance until it's ready & more show up.
If you're super late (like 45min or more), just plan on coming in & looking for a couple tables with 12-15 people being loud and annoying, discussing geeky car topics.
For the Utica-Rome guys, since it's ~1hr trip, let's plan on meeting at my shop by 3:45pm. There's plenty of on- & off-street parking for those who want to hop in carpools for the trip, and people are always here keeping an eye on things.

Haha, Ed, you have made this response a few times in this thread before, and have had no reply, so I might as well make some reply. I will be at work, so I am not going to make it. _________________ 1998 Monte Carlo Z34 - 12.94@107.71 Street tires (Retired)

yeah I know..
Rochester guys cruising together? In theory I should time it so I leave and could meet with them if they are cruising together.
My birthdays Tuesday.
That concludes my random contribution obligation. |

I don't know who else is going, I'm planning on driving there from Rochester myself. I figured meeting people on the way would turn into a three hour ordeal instead of one hour.
I'm hoping we can take care of the dinner with one check. Whatever is easier I guess. If everyone pays for their food, appetizers, drinks, adds tax, rounds up and adds a 20-25% tip, we should have it covered. With a reasonable tip for putting up with us. |

Who has the two silver 04-05 and 06+ GPs. There are 4 of us at main bar now. Just not sure who we're looking for. _________________ 2018 Acadia

The mystery of the 2 other GP's was solved, albeit kinda late into the meal.
All-in-all, about 12 people showed up. Not bad for a thrown together meet, just for the sake of keeping in touch during the off-season.
I'll see if any of the parkinglot pics I took, turned out decent, and post them if so.

I'll "thank" you, when all this enthusiastic online activity translates into group activity with a hint of a similar level of interest. Maybe since you were obviously not driving a Bugatti to Cornell, as your fall-back plan suggested... the multiple posts & calls & texts about plans of attending could've finally resulted in showing up. It sure would've helped the members you seemed to have contact with during the confusion, to NOT wind up sitting & waiting to eat their dinner alone, when they were hoping to be with a group 5ft away.
On the other hand, I'll be the 1st to apologize for not figuring out a more formal way to help members get arranged in the group at the restaurant. Not being able to make solid reservations was a hindrance, but there's always a solution to a problem.
Still, it's better to have some meet, than no meet... so thanks for all who participated, and hope to see you again in the spring sometime.

Yeah they were sending people around single-file on the shoulder. It definitely didn't look like something someone would walk away from, and I guess he didn't.... |
