Larmo, tried to send you pm, but got this message.
Failed sending email :: PHP ::
DEBUG MODE
Line : 234
File : /usr/home282/l/a/larmo/public_html/phpBB2/includes/emailer.php
Also got it when trying to post a message, but it did post, so maybe you got the pm also. |

hmmm.... interesting.
On a related note, I've seen numerous times where users have posted the same message twice, sometimes thrice. This is likely because the user is impatient, clicks the SUBMIT button, thinks it is not going through when in reality it is, and clicks SUBMIT again, thus leading to the double posting.
Well, what if I program the "SUBMIT" button to change to a "SENDING" button upon initialization? That way, the user might be more willing to wait a few more seconds for the post to upload. _________________ Shelby GT500 Convertible

Or program it to send an electrical shock back to the user... whichever is easier.
I usually delete duplicates when I find that.
I don't always think it's user error. I've had occasions where the page hangs, then gives an error, so you go back and submit only to find out that it has now submitted 2. |
