Last night a few of us got togather and came up with a possible idea. Mike G informs me that there is a nasscar simulator in Driver's Village now. (similar to the one that used to be next to kahunaville in the mall). How about be all hop in there and see if we can race...or have a tournament...or something? Seems like a good car-club thing to do. After that, there is a good pool place we also went to...Michelle's in b'ville. It's big and spread out so I dont think we'd have a problem having a group in there if we wanted. Also another thing to think about might be making it saturday instead of sunday? Just an idea....what's everyone think?
Let me know...we've only got a week (and contrary to popular belief, that's not a whole lot of time) _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

I work at Driver's Village where the Nascar Sims are, If I know how many people are going, then I can set up a time and probably a discount. We could set up a leauge type race to see who is #1!!!

it's where you sit in the car which is on hydraulics and you're surrounded by screens....so when you drive the whole car tilts...it's pretty fun.

I will find out prices today, then post it here.
I am sure it will depend on the amount of people, I know it is $8.50 a race, but possibly cheaper with a group and also maybe a employee discount? |

My brother in law buys a ring he likes
She gets it, freaks out, and makes him take it back
SHE goes to the damn jeweler, picks out a completely different ring (and larger/more expensive...go figure)
He actually goes along with the whole thing, buys it, and they get married
I remember telling him years ago (he's a real nice guy, serious car nut also) that if my girlfriend (I don't get along with my sister) pulled a bitch move like that I would've told her to go fuck herself right then and there....relationship over
He's been whipped ever since....it's pathetic |
LOL!!
anyways lets get back on subject with the meet this weekend in Syracuse. How many people are planning on going? |

Note - all the ring/jewelry posts have been moved to their own topic in the "off topic" section. Let's try to keep this post near-topic so that we have a good meet with good attendance this weekend. |

A good meet turnout would be nice!
I just got some prices:
We could rent the place from 2-3 on saturday for $200.00 (Regular price 300.00) We can do anything we want.
OR
if we show up any time we can do 30 laps for $25/person
OR
if we show up we can do $6.50 a race (Regular price $8.50) which lasts 6.5 minutes.
Not sure what everyone wants to do, but here are the prices, depending on how many people show up, it could be worth paying per race or it might end up being cheaper to rent for the hour. any inputs?
A count of how many people would probably help.

I still have too much stuff to do around the house to make it to the neet. Plus, I already have dinner plans at 6:00. |

Given the punctuality dynamic of a large group of 20-40 somethings, it may be in our best interest to do the 30 lap race or something like that, though 25 bucks is a little bit of money. I guess i'd be willing to spend it.
Hey mike....you're name is where it belongs...he seems hopeful. |
