Shit, the Flash is almost done so you'd better believe I'll put it up!! If you guys totally hate it I'll take it down. Keep in mind, Flash is LESS bandwidth intensive than standard HTML, so in essence Flash will SAVE page load times.

Dec. 31st sounds good.... but then again it might carry over to the 1st when many people are home on vacation, and might want to visit the site? Just a thought.

Bah. you gotta download the entire flash file AND have a plug in for your browser to see it. A good HTML engine renders the HTML as it is loaded. And, good (read: standard compliant) HTML using CSS can do a lot of great things without using flash, JavaScript, or other crutches. The cascading menus on my site are done with CSS, no javascript.

Well I just finished the flash design, and its TOTAL size is about 47 kb. Yes, I said TOTAL SIZE. Forty-seven kb is about HALF the size of our current header, and look how simple our current header is with one square logo at the left and a small amount of text. So, bah humbug yourself, scrooge!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

That said, I'll be taking down the board sometime soon. Very likely tomorrow evening before the festivities begin. So, don't spaz if the site is unavailable for a day or two over this weekend. Never fear, she will return bigger and better than ever.

Happy New Years, guys.....

New versions of IE come with flash plugin already installed, so you should be fine. Take a look at this site... http://home.earthlink.net/~forrestw/toliet.htm

Did you see the interactive toilet? If so you have flash installed. If not, take 30 seconds and download the flash player below.

Fucking thing overflowed on me. I clicked on the hidden "poop a plate" button. Where's the plunger?
