I might actually go. The guy I sold Anna's GTP to also has a GN. I'm trying to talk him into taking is GN up there and letting me drive his GTP there. How cool would that be!

Any chance of taking him via a tour of Scottsville? Very Happy

The GSCA (for Buick GS's) allowed turbo Regals into the club and
we now outnumber the GS's. Now they encourage FWD to race/show
etc. It's great to see our 2 clubs setting up an event together! Unlike
what Kevin says I will race my bone stock Buicks <*grin*>.

Why did GN's want to be in another club? It seems like they have such a huge following and a great club structure they wouldn't want to.

The gnttype mailing list was (I believe) the first online attempt to
organize TR's (turbo Regals) and it started in 1992. When I joined
that list members (some with GS's) would recommend joining the
GSCA. It was a good fit Buick's first great muscle cars the GS's
with the next (TR's). The nationals are the mecca of Buick racing.

Sorry I haven't been thinking much about it since my engine puked.
I'll contact them and make sure they are still renting.

I e-mailed Larry Gable from the other club. I asked if he has confirmed with NYIRP. I see 12 yes's on the poll so I will tell him we hope to have 10-12 cars.

Hope to see you there - not sure if I'll be driving yet.
