I don't normally condier myself a complete dumbass, but I am beginning to wonder.

I got this shiny new tuner, and have been able to get minor changes done with help, but is there ANY type of newbie guide that anyone knows of?

I need to add fuel on top and I "think" I have an idea of how to do it, but there are really no "guides" out there that I can find that are specific. 99% of all the tables are not even labeled! How the hell do you actually know what you are changing if there is no source to reference?

The help file is neatly useless, and the forums are mainly full of guesses.

I really Embarassed need help with figuring out this whole tuning thing Embarassed

If there is anyone in the area that wants to teach a dumbass I will buy dinner and beers... (and maybe if you are good I will let you ride in the Regal! Very Happy )

Wow, I got my DHP PowrTuner and the actual program is pretty helpful, and then the forum is even more helpful.
If you somehow save your fuel tables, and either email me or post them here, I can tell u what u need.

Those look about right, but u can reduce the whole table by 5% or so to see if u dont want that kind of advance. I goy ur other screenshots. BUT, put them on here one at a time and i'll try to give u feedback.

What are the x-axis values (.08 - .92)? Airflow in what units? Why are there two tables (low, high octane)? How does the PCM know which one to use?

The high octane table is only used ay wot (100%tp). The low octane table is used when the pcm sees 0* of KR for more than 60 seconds at less than 100% tp. The pcm also uses both tables in conjunction to actually help control the ltft as it was explained to me...this is all very new to me, so I may be mis-spoken. I agree that it is VERY difficyult to try and "guess" what eahc colum's / row's value is equal to!

Nice. Run 2's KR, timing and O2 looks much better. You made tuning changes between run 1 and 2, right?

No...The leaner of the runs was with the Alky off.

OK, got it. It'll be interesting to see dyno or track runs with/without the alky.

Hmmm...maybe not so fast...

I had someone take a good long look at the scans and I may be pushing the injectors too hard. They are almost completely maxed out (static mode) in rpm ranges over 5700. Not too big a deal, as the headers and rockers and pulley will be in and I will have to re-tune anyway. Instead of using additional fuel to get rid of KR I can use more airflow. Then I can bump the injectors back to where the should be and begin to add more timing back into the mix.
