Who is planning on participating in the detailing portion of Detail/Mod Day? If I cen get a head count, I can plan better for materials, products, etc. |

Define "participating".
Seriously. I'm not trying to be a wise-ass (this time).
I thought you'd bring a bunch of products and show us how to use each. I was planning on watching and learning. |

I figure to have sample bottles of stuff for people to use. I plan on a demonstration or two, but the main purpose is for everyone to get the cars cleaned while I walk around and point out what was missed.
Actually, I may just work on a car or two to demonstrate different products such as waxes vs. selants, glazes, polishes, etc. I may even bring in a guest detailer to help out. I just have to pay him in wax. |

That Sunday is the week before IDD and mother's day which I am going to. Skipping out on the family 2 weekends in a row will be difficult, but I plan on attending also. _________________ 2000 GTP 13.5 daily driver

I'll be most likely detailing my car at the mod day because it doesn't look like I'll have my goodies installed by then. Big surprise right? |

I plan on participating/watching. After cleaning the car this weekend I found some ugly winter "marks" that need attention. _________________ Adam

This stuff worked pretty well helping me clean up the STB I got from Sean H. at the last mod-day: http://www.rustoleum.com/product.asp?frm_product_id=31&SBL=1 That, and a couple grinding bits on the Dremel.
I have a good amount of it left--I can bring it if anyone wants to use it.
I also need to get some paint to use with this guy on my hood and a few other places.
Scott, I'll probably be interested in some towels. Maybe a waffle weave and a couple microfiber ones. _________________ 2018 Acadia

I don't think a clay bar will do anything about rust spots. The only time it helps is if the rust is from rail dust that has buried itself in the paint/clear. You usually see it on white cars.
I'll be bringing some of everything in my product line. Instead of kits, I'll prpbably just do 20% off pring on everything. |
