Hi, the name's David, I'm a friend of Gary Holland (2Fast4U). I'm not from UNY but instead I'm from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish). I own a 2001 Regal LS with the L36 N/A (as any Regal owner will say, flying fast with class Cool, it is not your Dad's Buick). I had met Gary on RegalGS.org and I had driven up to UNY to visit Gary and his family for a Saturday to get help tuning my car and have some delicious local town hotdogs. Well I had an Intense PCM and I knew something wasn't right with all the suspicious talk and I couldn't scan bc I didn't have a scanner. After driving with the Intense PCM for a few months and about 30k miles I finally got in touch with Gary. Well once Gary started scanning it wasn't pretty the way Intense had my car running. At low RMP I was seeing 2-4 KR, cruising speed 6 KR and at WOT 12 KR Shocked on 89 octane. My fuel tables were totally wrong causing my injectors to tick. My O2 readings were scattered from 50! to 900. But after a few hours Gary got it running 0 KR and what a huge power increase. I wish I knew tuning as well as Gary to return the favor and help him with his dilemma. As for me I don't have any HP, TQ, or PB numbers as of yet but my goal is low 14s or high 13s, I'll even settle to be just out of the 15s Razz . Certainly a cam will be in the future but I'm holding off until I can make my mind up on the ZZP M90 kit. Is anyone here going to purchase it? Who here has the fastest L36 N/A? Anyone have the ZZP 4.1L stroker kit? Well Gary had invited me to the board and it's nice to meet all of you. I'm interested in meeting up on 6/12/05 for the dyno pulls if I'm invited. I had posted this in the dyno forum. TIA for welcoming aboard and I've included a list of modifications (notice what I call my tuning Laughing) with a picture and my scans with Gary! Very Happy

Welcome, David! Glad to hear that you were able to fix your Intense "tuning" Laughing

Feel free meet us in Leicester NY at the track some time. It can't be too far from you (and if it is, just whine less than Cary on the way up from pa Laughing Laughing Laughing and all will be fine!) I don't want to break your spirit, but also don't want you to set unreal expectations. It's going to take some work to get a N/A 3800 into low 14s, high 13s. Just ask Jon G.

Thank you for the welcoming Mike, I fully understand the difficulty of my goals and like I said I'd be happy just to be in the high 14s. What is Jon G's userid so I can PM him? TIA.

Yes, Welcome David!

Definatley have some lofty goals, but thats good to have those kind of goals. Currently Jon Gattelero(SP?) has the fast N/A L36 in the club with his 13.8. I don't understand how you were getting that much KR on a N/A motor at low speed unless something was messed up? But glad to see you got it fixed.
