I am selling because I am going back to school. When the car went to the body shop I was not planning on school, but now it’s a definite. I have a transferable Fidelity Warranty on the transmission, motor, and drive axles; every lubricated part is covered. The warranty last until 1/31/06 or 99k. It only has 78k on it right now. Here we go:
1997 Bright red F1 Galaxy silver GTP – Fresh paint on the whole car, incl. door jams
- Every option came with the car, except the antenna in the back window. 12 disk changer in back, heated power seat, pass seat is a drivers power seat.
- Rear bucket seat professionally installed, I have a center console in perfect shape(needs fit, depending on time I might cut and fit it)
-All body work was done by a professional shop, the driver rocker panel under the side skirt was pretty rotted. All the rot was cut out, sand blasted and new heavy gauge metal welded in. The pass. Side rocker panel wasnt that bad but that was blasted and only needed a small section of repair. Floors have no rust on them.
- I have all interior pieces and all are in great shape, missing the drivers door sill piece. The screw that held it in was stripped so the plastic broke getting it out(depending on time; I might have a new one)
- I threw the old cabin carpet out. (depending on time I might have another carpet)
-I was going to dynamat the whole thing, so as of right now the headliner is dynamited and just a door and a section on the floor. I ran out of dynamat and have no money or intrest on doing it now since I am selling it.
- I have a extra newer back windshield with the antenna embedded into it. I also have wiring for it.
- I have the original back seat and airbox too.
- One seat has a small tear on the butt section, another has a crack along the bottom side(near power button).
-The car needs wheels so tires shouldn’t be a concern, tires are worn.
- I have only been to the track twice maybe 10 runs, IIRC it ran a 14.2/14.3 w/o the pulley, and on crap stock tires
-I am the 2nd owner for the past 2.5 years, the first was a middle aged woman
- Fresh coolant and tranny flush, and a fuel filter on 6/29
- New inspection
- the exhaust is stock and has a hole in the resonator(doesn’t sound that bad though)
- Recall on steering rrack was preformed @dealer, so it has a new steering rack(the first easy fix they try and do didn’t work)
MODS (only used for a half a season, except the cai)
-3.4” and 3.25” dub pulley
-MSP cai
-F- body brakes
-Remanufactured calipers on all four corners
-New rotors on all four corners
-New pads on all four corners, new lines in front
-New Blazertech 3200s just put in
-3 gauge A pillar, 2 gauges in cubby of center console.
-All gauges are autometer carbon fiber: boost, oil pressure, tranny temp, volts, A/f ratio. The a/f ratio doesn’t work
-New car cover from PFYC, the top of the line one (IIRC $200 ish)
-’99 coolant bottle, f duct. Newer washer bottle in fender well (not over the battery).

all body work was professionally done. no more rust underneath, floors are fine, just the rocker panels were rotted from the salt being trapped inside the gound molding. I have a extra back windshield w/ antenna in it w/ wiring. 99 colant bottle and waher fluid bottle
I bought the car almost 3 years ago. I am the 2nd owner, the 1st was a middle age woman who traded it in. I have only been to the track twice, I ran a 14.2 iirc. That was with crap stock tires(which are still on the car). |

We can request the IP information on those pots if you wish. I don't know how a moderator was able to log in as someone else and post those comments. Once we find out who did, we can them determine the correct course of action. Is this something you want to go ahead with? |
