I'll be there as well. I hit it up every year. I'll probablly be stuck in the 'Modified' class again though and not be parked with the 'Grand Prix' class...I'm meeting up with two others who are not involved with the club early on Sunday. Drop me a PM Jim and we can line things up as far as cruising together.

Jim Murphy Pontiac Extravaganza
Sunday, July 31st 2005
3000 Walden Ave
Depew, NY 14043

Registration is from 10am - noon
Judging 12-2pm
Awards 3pm

Classes of interest:

N - 1988-05 Grand Prix
W - Semi-Mod 1968 and newer
X - Modified All

According to the "rules" You can only have 2-3 bolt on mods to your car and still be in the Grand Prix class. I was bumped into Modified last year but still took home 2nd place.

Hope to see some of you at the show! I'll be leaving at 9:45am and looking to meet up with a few other at 10am.

If a UNYCGP finished first in a class, SMP will supply a prize.

I'll be rocking the Five Star system on Sunday Scott. It netted me 2nd Place last week. I lost to the same guy last year he has an orange 87 GTA. He knows all the judges and sucks up to everyone there so I knew first place was out. I did challenge him to a race though! Wink

I am going to be meeting Mike at his house around 9, Sunday morning. If all goes well with the exhaust swap, I will be there around 10. *Crossing fingers*...Mike lives real close to the dealership so at least that makes it easy

The Jim Murphy Car show was another great time! Jim and myself were the only club member that entered the show but there was a nice showing of Grand Prix's there. There were a total of 7 cars that were in the Grand Prix class! Pat showed up with his F1 along with Mike. It was great to see them again! Jay also stopped up to support the club and check out the cars. Thanks guys!
One of the highlights of the day was seeing a Black 2002 GTP with the full AED body kit and lambo doors. The car was also rocking a black custom paint job with House of Kolor blue flake mixed in. Jay has some pics I think.
All in all it was a great time and I wish we could get a few more club cars to enter next time. It would be great showing for the club!!
