Hey Dan.
Is there a way to keep poll results hidden?
I think that when we start voting on the new positions, that the results should be hidden until the voting is over.

I added a poll to this to give you an example of what I mean.

Can moderators verify who voted? We only want legitimate club members voting.

Brian, that mod has been implemented since this board's inception.
Thanks.

Are you referring to the '608' one I posted in reference to Larry's question, "can moderators verify who voted?" If so, sorry, I guess I don't know how to use it. How do you see who voted? I have a poll here. Is there a link somewhere I need to click?

The mod referenced has the following description:
Quote:
This is an admin control panel hack that allows administrators to view polls, see which users voted in each poll, and optionally, how each user voted in the poll.

Includes an auto installer for the database changes. No need to manually make database changes using an external program such as phpMyAdmin any longer!

Includes language support for Dutch, French, English, German, Hebrew, Russian, Slovak and Spanish.

Now compatible with Mozilla and Netscape browsers as well as Internet Explorer.

Because of potential privacy issues, forums with this hack installed should inform their users that it has been installed.

Larry, is this what you were getting at? If not, can you clarify? Thanks.

Is there a way to give the current Mods some of the admin functions (ie, ban or restrict access, view polls, etc) while restricting other admin privledges (ie making changes to the forum structure)?

Yes... I am currently developing a Moderator Control Panel. It was be accessible ONLY to those designated as MODS on this website. Once logged into the ModCP you will have options such as ban/suspend/warn users, view poll results, send mass emails, send mass PM's, prune forums, etc. Please be patient while this addition is finished.

As motivation, I will kick over some car care products when the job is done. You've done a lot already and you should be justly rewarded.
