These are sets I ported, welded, and reworked (stock exhaust manifolds). The front manifold is opened up the the gasket size then ported fully inside the runner. So the full runner is opened to the ext port size. Fully they don't neck down. The rear manifold is rewelded on the outside and inside welds removed.
Everthing ZZP dose to there $250 ported manifolds was done, Plus more work on the front manifold . Not just gasket matched then blened to the stock small size. (I have intalled and looked over, a ZZP set) You have to see this set next to a stock set I have. Shocked Feel free to come over and see them,

With a 3' RT/DP with these manifolds, I lost 3psi of boost. Over the stock DP and manifolds. I ported them to work with a 3' DP so they work best with it. (outlet was welded and ported to 3") You loose boost when you free up your exhaust, Boost is airflow NOT getting around the intake valve. So your flowing more air thu the motor. The engine is a air pump, so air the motor CAN'T use is meauserd in boost. But A GT will gain HP and gas milage with them. Same as a GTP.
I could and ran a 3.20 pulley 24/7 all summer on 93oct, with 0 KR. Some Ataps on hot days showed a few litttle KR spikes. Mostly high 1.x low 2. spikes in 3rd WOT and down shifts. Ran constent 13.5's at 101-102MPH this summer, in the heat. With several 13.4's and a 13.375@102.5. This was with a STOCK CAT BACK.
I had a 3.20, upstate CAI, DHP, RT/DP, 1.9 rockers. With the ported manifolds.
And they look stock. Cool So it's dealer friendly, But your car hauls ass for just a airbox and a pulley.

I'm still doing the ported manifolds PM me.
$100 for a set
$35 for just the front
This is a core exange for your stock manifolds, exchange. So get a differnt set form Scott Preston if you want to keep your set.

You know you are getting old when....

you have to decide between mods and business attire!

(unless you are refering to a flame retardant suit because you are spraying a wet 3 stage 500 shot and running in the 9s.

Thats a good deal seeing. You "could" have paid $350 for the DP new plus tax/shipping. And $260+ for a MSP CAI that dosn't fit worth shit. And the closed you can get to heavily modded manifolds is ZZP's for $250 plus the core. You don't need a core for these or tax, shipping. And the they don't come with a miget in the box to install them. Laughing I don't even wnat to add what those cost new. Evil or Very Mad ........ OK almost a $1,000

I'm just tring to help anyone out. Cuz as everone know speed cost money. And some GP mods are over priced.
I'd like to get the GMPP Koin's too, there nice.
Back on topic;
These are still for sale.

Jon as much as i would love to buy these i dont have the money right now.

But my main question is that when i do get money together how much would it cost me to get a set done? Would you prefere me to bring over a core set and just drop them off or use my stock ones?? I have a few things im saving up for over winter and I would like to add these to my wish list. Plus if im there with ya i could learn a few things also.

And don't it suck that to buy a decent suit you gotta break into the mod budget.

Actually my boy's christening is Sunday and I need new "Sunday-go-to-meetin'" clothes.

I have four unported sets in my garage now. I don't have an air compressor in my house and have limited time to run out to the folk's house to use theirs. Besides, John C spent waaaayyyy more time on the front manifolds that I did. I basically port matched the front ones and smoothed out the inside a bit. Then again, I was only asking $150 for mine. I need to do a couple pairs and see if I can get a reseller pricing on coating from Jet Hot. Then, I can install my downpipe of several years and manifolds to crack 14's without rockers of PCM.

Also, I will not wax manifolds. The rought casting tears up my foam pads... Very Happy

I would definatley buy these if it weren't for 3 reasons....
1.) I don't have ANY money
2.) I don't plan on keeping my car past this winter
3.) With my 3" exhaust I would have the same Initial torque output of a Honda! Razz

Hell of a deal, and John installing them for FREE!!!! If I only had a car i wanted to keep!
Hey john how about a trial run on a GT...just enough so I can beat Sean in our race? Laughing
