I asked the w.i.f.e. just now if she wanted to go to Rottenchester for the event and she said, "HELL NO! Remember what happened last time we drove 3 1/2 hours for that gig?"
(for those that weren't there - we came all the way up, stayed overnight at a hotel even, and everybody crapped out immediately after dinner. Sheryl and I went out for drinks by ourselves afterward)
IF we come up again....I hope it won't be on the same day as the auto show like last time (I think that's the excuse everybody used that night anyways)
The w.i.f.e. thinks you guys don't throw such a good party. You'd have to prover her wrong I guess _________________ 2000 GTP 13.5 daily driver

Cary, that was 2 years ago. I don't remember what I was doing, but I had another committment that day.
Last year was the amazing dinner at the place Marino scouted out in Buffalo.
I say that if nobody steps forward with a better idea, that we book that place again. Food was fantastic and wasn't expensive.
You're welcome to stay here, Cary (just don't call me on the way up and tell me every 15 minutes how bored you are!!) |

That time in Rochester the weather sucked, IIRC.. No one wanted to get stuck in Rochester, they all wanted to get home.
Cary - I have a spare bedroom you and the W.I.F.E. are welcome to use (in Lockport, about 25 minutes from Carmine's), if you don't mind an air mattress for the night. Just let me know in advance so I can get it organized. Computer equipment and golf gear has a way of running rampant in my house..

I am in for January as long as it isn't the weekend of the 20th (group of friend and I are rolling to NAIAS in Detroit that weekend.) Otherwise I can fit it in. Maybe even con the bro into bringing the GP GT up. let me know. |

we're going to talk about it until Fed. 15th, then figure since we're a month and a half late, that we should just forget about it. |

Someone has to make a decision, and If you cant make the date/place, then so be it. There is no way to fit everyones schedule and that always seems to be the problem with every single event. Since i am not a high ranking member, nor do i even own a grand prix, I am not going to make this decision, but if someone wants to give that power to me I will. although i dont want anything to do with organizing it . Just pick a place and time and we should go from there. i would assume the begining of Jan. would be best for everybody, since Christmas is hectic for most. Once a place and time is set, then we can go proceed with a list on who can make it, then make reservations and plans for afterwards. |

January 8th?
Holiday dinner or strip club. One or the other. Or one at a time.
Strip club: Food/bar in Buffalo. Trip to Canada.
Holiday dinner: Rochester - central location, last year was in Buffalo and better chance of good weather. |

January 8th sounds like a good date to me!
i vote holiday dinner! We can always hit the strip clubs the night before, or we could go all out this year, and hit both the toronto Auto show, and the strip clubs in the same day!!!!!!!!! |

If we are doing rochester, I vote for scotch and sirloin.
It sounds like we've decided on Jan 8.
Who wants to step up and finalize the details? |
