You need to grow some thicker skin, kids... it seems you guys are just waiting with baited breath for SOMETHING to go wrong with this website.

I can only speak for myself, but I point out the issues I experience for the purpose of improvement. Now, if we choose to get defensive and interpret the reporting of these issues as complaining, then there is not much more I can do.

My stance comes from a point of view that I've developed from several other forums that I am on that have many times the users this site does, from many more geographies, with literally hundreds of times the posts this site does. I can't recall the last time these other forums experienced any downtime or connectivity issues.

But hey, that's just my experience and point of view. Take it for what it's worth.

Mike chill out pal... nobody is getting defensive here. All I am saying is when the topic reads UH OH HERE WE GO AGAIN and an entire thread is generated from the server being unavailable for literally about two seconds, then perhaps the club needs to go elsewhere for their web solution needs. I'm trying my best here Mike. You guys must have no idea about the time I've invested here. I don't say that to be patted on the back, but rather for people to maybe think twice when they post something that might be contrued as negative towards my services (which are free, btw). For anyone that volunteers their time and services, its always wise to keep criticism restrained until absolutely necessary.

Or what you will take your ball and go home?

I see a hint of a defensive thread in your wording Dan.
This thread was just reporting that there was an issue. You were quick to accept teh accolades when the compliments came reagrding how snappy the forum was running.

We are all pleased with the forum and appreciate the effort you put forth.

I am not clear what you meant by "growing thicker skin". The fact that there is a bug or snafu doesn't hurt anyones feeling or offend.

So, yes sir thicker skin is needed and it is yours.

Because you do a great job 98% of the time and it seems thankless, does that mean no one can point out if there is a problem?

BTW, Thank you for the free serive you provide. I know I apreciate it. This is by far one of the best GP chapter sites I have seen.

We just want to let you know there is a nagging problem with "critical eerors".

Look at the time stamps. Looks like off an on issues for a period of 4 hours.

Perhaps that would be best for all involved.

See my post above. Not always is it criticism. Sometimes it is a helping hand.
