ha. well i have for a while now and i have been using my bros helmet bc he has been rebuilding his car for a few years now. But he is bringing it out this year so im going to need my own helmet Very Happy

Jon, poke around online. You can buy new dot/snell helmets for as little at $70.

You might even be able to find a better deal at local shops, if they want to get rid of last year's models.

i sent you a PM asking if motorcycle helmets are the same as car helmets bc i found a bunch of those on Ebay.

Summit has helmetsfor pretty cheap along with how to size them.

Motorcycle helmets are basicly the same except they lack a nomex (or some other fire proof) lining. If you ever goto a track that actually checks the helmet or ever do an autocross a motor cycle will most likely not pass inspection.

None of those are Snell 2000 which means you can't AutoX but i'm sure they are more than enough to pass at 90% of drag strips![/url]

I like Pat's suggestion...I wish I looked there when I bought mine. And if you're looking for the Snell rating, and paying $105 above, go $110 and get an open-face one:

you might need a fire jacket to. everyone is waiting to see what bob and NYI are going to save about cars with a differnt power adder then stock. (newrule)
