Hey i'm Vince i'm 19 and from Canisteo, NY. Its about 5 miles from Hornell, NY. I drive a 1997 Red 4 door GTP. If anybody had spotted a red 4 door running around with a carbon fiber SD hood in the rochester / buffalo area its likely me for I have not seen anybody even think of putting a carbon fiber hood on a bright colored GP.

This is a good shot of my CarbonFiber SD hood.

Even better shot of what CarbonFiber looks like when in the sun.

My interior which is nothing special.

Rear end which is seen alot by the local street racers! haha!

My car next to my dream car an 2004 GTO.

I found this eclipse on the highway and we both slow'd down to about 20 and then from there on he had me up to 50 then it was mine and I snapped a shot of him when I was doing around 70mph.

None other then modifiying the airbox to let the RamAir work which sounds like a turbo spooling up driving down the street!

did you modify the stock airbox or an aftermarket CAI? I have the same hood and was contemplating making it look functional

Barton hacked mine up one afternoon when we were both bored.

Unless they've redesigned the hood in the past few years, modifying the airbox will at best make it luke warm air induction.

If I recall correctly, there were 3 90 degree square bends, an obstruction to keep water from flowing into the airbox, and a hole to let accumulated water out.

I'd be hard pressed to say that modifying the airbox to accomodate an SD hood accomplishes anything.

Best mod you can do (for the track) is the $5 fan switch. Made my car consistent (and you could feel the hot air being pushed out the rear vents on the hood).
