did you modify the stock airbox or an aftermarket CAI? I have the same hood and was contemplating making it look functional |
Yeah me and friend lined up where the pre-cut air hole on the hood was and dremeled it out then went to the local hardware store and bought some pvc pipe so that when the hood is shut the pipe is inside the airbox. I would say ti makes a difference because now you hear a loud whistel when i'm going down the street and if you put a piece of paper near the grills in the hood when i give it some gas it wants to suck it right in. I have a camera in my car and will take pictures of what me and my friend did to it for all those wanting to know.

Haha yeah, I hurd this line about 100 times within the first week of buying it and the only thing I said to people was "Its not a black hood! Its a carbonfiber one see and pointed to it up close" |
