hmmm.... it wasn't Jon who went home early. He did get a trophy, but not the 1st place trophy. That went to another club member.

There was some additional excitement at the end of the night when an 8 second pro stock thingy hit the wall and flipped, sliding on its roll bars.

Good time was had by all. Thanks to everyone who showed up! I wonder if that chick at Mama Mia finished her shot of hot sauce without puking...

I lost by 0.01 second in the first round to a guy that is very good. A crappy reaction time (0.670) combined with a poor dial (15.701 on a 15.67 dial) caused the loss. After that, I just didn't feel like sticking around. I saw all the GP's win in the second round and Mike race his bike for the first time. I had orders to pack and ship, so those took priority. Smile

Good night at the track, the Grand Prixs did well bracket racing. The GTPs were kind of slow, but Jon G. had great times including a new PB, I think.

yhea, he broke out. I was mesing with my intior lights.....
Good thing i redlighted, his dial was a 14.58 he ran a 14.57. new PB. But I passed him by about 15 MPH, at the finish. So I hit the flashers.
Then he got another PB next round. I made it thu 2 rounds, redlighed in my 3rd. no trohpy.
