I agree.

It's booked! So far for 18 people which is subject to change. However, I do have to give them a firm headcount 3 days prior to our reservation which is for Saturday, December 18th at 4:00 PM. Any questions, let me know. Now all we have to do is figure out what we wanna eat!

And everyone, don't forget to bring extra money for a tip. Plan on contributing at least $18 to $20 per person to cover dinner and tip, and extra if you're going to drink beer or wine.

So is money for dinner just going to be collected at dinner or should we set something up where its collected before hand so no one gets shafted.

I'd be a fan of collecting money ahead of time just so we can have an exact headcount by this weekend.

I would suggest collection of money ahead of time...and seperate drink bill for those who plan on drinking beer or wine...like me! Laughing That is if they are willing to do that sort of thing?

I don't know if it's worth it to collect $$ ahead of time. Not everyone will be able to submit payment before that date and everyone will owe more anyway (appetizers, drinks, dessert, tax and tip).

Usually, people start migrating away from the table before the bill is paid which causes problems. We're using the $14.95 menu? It'll probably be $26 (drink) to $50 (other food, multiple drinks) per person.
