<--heads/cam/headers l36 bottom end running 3.0 with 0 KR.
What cam?
You should be able to use at LEAST a 3.4...maybe even smaller i'd think _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

i am not 100% sure as to what cam, i think its a stattama stg2 blower cam, were waiting to find out from the machine shop. the heads had some work done, valves opened up a bit internally 4 angles , a mild port and polish, 105lb springs, titanium retainers and locks, i am not sure who did them though, look to be a local shop might of. I want to go with a 3.4 b/c its a dialy driver and i have enough problems with w-bodys and drivetrain.... still waiting on a trans for our monte.. ughh |

pully size should be the last thing you have to worrey about. you should start with a size bigger then you should be ok with, that to only safe way. Without headers your goig to have to watch it like your thinking under a 3.4 . What are you doing for a supercharger? _________________ New Era performance

i can trade u for my 3.4. only thing is i'm not positive i can run the 3.25 safely w/ my mods. if u have time where i could use it for like a week and get a scan or 2 in w/ it and it works well w/ mayb 1*KR(peak) then i'll give u the 3.4. if not then i'll just give the 3.25 back _________________ 2004 Yukon XL Trying to keep stock

Any KR is BAD KR!! End of story, if you are running 9.5:1 compression with forced induction and are getting any KR, your engine doesn't have long to survive!
Whats that noise? OH right thats just your piston melting! _________________ 2002 WRX Wagon - SOLD!!

Hey joe, That would be fine.... I am in no hury for the pulley~ I am still waiting to get the lower and blower back from my buddys machine shop, hes porting and polishing them.. Plus still debating about a cam....and if i should just pop the pistons and run a diamond piston for the added security. but i might just go with the 3.8 and see what it does and step to a mod system and work to a 3.6-3.5-3.4 etc....... I dont want too much boost as its a daily driver, but the car lacks what my wifes turbod gp and my turbo monte feels like. i like passin gear...Lol...
Joe I might swing by and drop off the snout with you tonight at work. |

I agree with GTP98, your 3.25 should be fine.
You could just throw your 3.8 back on and troubleshoot.
How are your plugs/wires? Good fuel?
I see what you mean about not wanting the 3.8 if you can afford to do a 3.4 but I have a feeling your problems might still be there. _________________

greg, i have both the 3.4 and 3.8 so if u wanna trial/error w/ either of them that'd be fine. i have the puller in my trunk so i can remove the pulley from the snout whenever ur rdy for it. |
