Cool. Should we start an official picnic thread or will this one suffice?
And to summarize, august 12th at letchworth park.
Are we going to get a cabin or just pick a parking lot? That will determine what needs to be brought. |

Parking lot near the grassy area like previously is probably the best bet. I dont think there's much parking near and/or use for a cabbin? _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

The only reason I mention that is that I know there are things you can rent there that have grills. I don't know if they are technically cabins or shelters or lean-tos or what they call them. I bring that up because unless preston is driving up, a grill is one big thing someone will have to bring. Also, if we get a building, then we can make this a rain or shine event (possibly). |

Made available and willing to transport are two very different things.
If we got a shelter that had a grill it kills a couple birds with one proverbial stone. |

12th is good for me. Ill be there.
I think prepay is a good idea, say $10 per person, $15 per couple?. Have one or two people pick up the food/pop/rolls/chips with the cash. Any extra money we can buy some prizes or put it towards a future event. _________________ '08 TrailBlazer SS Black/Black |

I think I can twist the arm of the owner of SMP to cut a check for $75 to cover burgers and stuff. |

I could always bring one or both of these again...
Though from the pics of the last Letchworth trip (?), it looked like Guzzo brought his dog. I might bring my dog and just haul the Smokey Joe....maybe somone else has another small grill? _________________ 2018 Acadia
