I have been a member of OQCGP for more than 5 years and I'm located in Burlington, Ontario, about 1hr from Niagara Falls. I may have seen a few of you at the OQCGP BBQ's. There's a chance that I might come down for this year's mod day, if it happens - I'm in desperate need of a GMPP sway bar kit.
Here are a few pics of my mods:

HUD pod is cool and you did a real nice job with the engine cover. _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

Ditto on that! If anyone wants to experiment, I've still got mine up for grabs.

Thanks for the props people
Another OQCGP member, Shimmy (Paul), actually came up with the whole idea of cutting out the engine covers. I was the second person to make one. The one pictured above is my second attempt. My first looked like this:
Jason (copgtp) asked me if it was ok for him to take my idea and start selling them off on his own. I told him that it wasn't a problem since it wasn't really my idea in the first place and that I felt it would be difficult to make any money doing it.
My current cover took ~12hrs to cleanup, cutout, and deburr. The stainless steel took probably another 10hrs to cut, shape and polish. |
