Welcome Brandon. There are meets once in while. We just had the summer picnic, there are occasional bar/dinner meets (like tonight in Rochester) and maybe an annual mod day or dyno day. But a few of us are at the track almost every week and the offical club bracket racing night is the first Wed of the month.

Hiyas and welcome.
Best way to get a group together is to come up with an event, be it a mod day or a dinner somewhere, and a bunch of us will show.
The only organized thing we have at the moment is our bracket racing series at NYIRP. Next event is first wednesday in Sept.
Oh, and as for rooting for the bills, feel free. I hear they are expected to do well this year - against several very strong high school teams!

But I mean the IAT sensor is right in the duct there...did you try disconnecting it to see if it dropped to -37? If it was the sensor you could have got one for like $10 on the forum.
I'm not positive that would cause the stalling...but it might be retarding spark at idle if it thinks it's 100,000 degrees outside.
I'd sure be retarted if it was that hot out. |

Sooo funny story.
I guess when I installed my thrasher about a month ago my sensor came detached from the plug; not knowing this i just inserted the plug back into the intake. Been driving with my ses light on for a while with no problems. Installed my amp the other day and I forget what the mechanic said but I guess my power wire was touching something and throwing my whole car outta wack.
Long story short, I paid 87 dollars for a shop to put an iat sensor in, clean my maf and move an f'n wire.
woulda cost me 10 bucks for the sensor |
