The BowFlex Power Pro XTL is a great way to get in shape at home. This has the bench and the optional lat tower attachment for gym-style lat pulldowns and triceps pushdowns; it also has the leg extension piece. You can work the chest, legs, arms, and lats all with this machine.

The BowFlex Power Pro has the following and is excellent condition:
210 pounds of Power Rods resistance
Folding weight bench (incline or laying down)
Hand grips
Lat / Overhead Bar
Folds up and rolls away for easy storage
Leg Extension
Waist Belt
Owners Manual
Safety lock
This is all put together. It folds up and can be moved easily. Will deliver within reason of greater buffalo area.

Looking for $400 or best offer. Will trade for xbox360 Premium. Can get pics!

Is that 210 lbs/side or 210 total?

Them guys on the commercials don't get that big 'benching' 210 lbs on that thinger, that's for sure.

Except for that pussy Michael Plinko or whatever his name is.

"I"m 49 years old and living my dream...I play in a rock band and bang saggy sluts my age"

[/rant]

I am curious tho...how's that compare to an actual dumbell benchpress....the p0w3r r0d chest press?

The thing with these is even though it only has 210lbs of resistance its actually harder than if it was 210lbs of free weights.

I have been looking for one of these for a while but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money yet.

If you want to get HUGE like Mr universe than this bowflex is not for you. Bowflex is for small to medium/large builds. I can see someone putting on some decent muscle or just getting in shape with one of these.

yea, it uses alot of smaller stablization muscles, so you will see gains. Also you can use the machine for rowing so you can build up some good cardio. If you do start to out grow it you can upgrade another 100lbs to it. The "power rods" have lifetime warranty.

Jay I am alittle flexible on the price, just don't lowball me with $200 offer.

price isn't a big deal with me, I know what these went for new and your asking is pretty good to start with. i'm just saving for a tyranny so i'm not sure if I want to spend any of what I have saved up on this.

From what I remember the 210lb bench press was difficult for my friend that could max. bench press with the ol bar and weights at 300lbs.
Its a weird experience, u feel weak when u find out that lil biot of weight was that difficult.

The big thing with the bowfles is that you get no momentum. The entire rep feels like you are just starting the motion with a freeweight.

I really wanted one, then I tried one and really didn't like it.

From what I recall, they also seemed pretty expensive new. $360 sounds like a good deal, though I don't know what they go fo rused.
