Ha. no Cary. Im not sure what you know what i did to the car over the winter but there is a lot more power and if im in ohio i want to make sure i have something to bring it home on incase something breaks on it. Also since my alternator experience 2 years ago, im scared to drive it that far again Laughing

hehe...I hear ya Jon...but personally anyways...if I ever own a car that would have to be trailered to the track (i.e. race car only, not a street car) it would be RWD, have a monster V8, and go a hella lot faster than most of the GPs that'll be at IDD, ya know?

you still drive your GT on the street local? winter? or, is it more a summer time toy now? what you do, turbo??

as far as the alternator goes if you replaced the bad one already then you should be good to go I would think.

As far as breaking a half shaft, a tranny, LSD, or God forbid an internal part...yeah, that would suck big time.

I take it you haven't had the chance to really test/tune the new setup and make sure it's real solid yet?

hey cary. im not worried about driving it to geneseo but into another state im a little iffy about. I have been only driving my car in the summers since i have gotten it. The car will have more then double the horsepower it used to have. The car is well put together with all the parts you would ever need so im not worried about having shitty parts in it break bc there arent any. Either way we will see. i have a little time to figure it out. plus ill be test n tuning it at geneseo before then anyways.

yeah, driving my car right now sucks...pains me..but it's always been my DD, what can you do.

double the HP huh? nice. can't wait to see it Jon. didn't know you had a winterbeater as well.

so, it's not that you couldn't drive it to OH, it's that you'd rather trailer it in case something breaks, I follow. With a high HP setup, prolly smart.

what do you think she'll run this year?

(OH, I'm not lining up with you, don't even ask Smile )

That is exactly the reason. I have been told things by Stattama and ZZP so depending on the boost i run the GT should be running atleast mid 11's if not faster. So we will see. It should make for a fun year. Very Happy

Hey JonG.? What size turbo did u go with? ~IF~ I do keep going on my GP a year or two from now I wanna switch over to a turbo. I'm thinkin the T70 setup. Then I dunno if I want to keep the water to air or just use the air to air.
Lemmie know. I guess if its a secret...PM me.
